April Fools Day

A number of papers have run April Fools Day stories today, a light interlude before the impending election:
  • The Telegraph goes with specially-trained ferrets, expanding broadband to rural communities.
  • The Sun reports a fish biting back, attacking an angler in act of pre-meditated revenge.
  • The Guardian trails Labour's new 'shock tactics', with a series of posters of 'hard man' Gordon Brown spoiling for a fight.
  • Con Home place a (mock) government advert in The Guardian, 'Celebrating 13 years of effective waste maximisation'.
