Rock 'n Roll in Cobham
Well almost. Last night, co-founder of the Boom Town Rats, Jerry Cott, played the first night of a series of performances, to launch his new album Urban Soundscapes. If you love solo guitar and/ or blues, check out the album and his other shows at http://www.gerrycott.com/.
The proceeds from the show went towards the Riverhill regeneration project run by Cobham Conservation and Heritage Trust. Congratulations to Gerry Acher and all involved in putting the show together.
I was really proud to support the event. Erika and I went with my folks and enjoyed a great evening, in the beautiful setting of St Andrews Church. Jerry was absolutely brilliant - a really authentic and original musician, and a thoroughly entertaining raconteur of stories from his diverse travels and the rock and roll years with Sir Bob.
