Yesterday, the Thames Ditton Centre for the Community won the prize as the 'Center for all Ages', at the Awards for All Ages presented in the House of Lords. The centre was recognised for having a range of activities for all ages on one shared site, from children to pensioners. There's dance, Tai Chi, ballet and yoga all on offer. The Center is run by Elmbridge borough council and Surrey county council in partnership with local groups and volunteers.
