A Strategy for the Second-Half

As Parliament rises for its Summer recess - which by the way is not the same thing as MPs going on holiday - the coalition is feeling a bit buffeted from all sides, with economic challenges and political tensions. Yesterday, I penned a piece for the FT setting out a strategy for the second-half of this Parliament based on classical British liberal - rather than progressive - values.

Conservatives and Lib Dems won't agree about everything. But, I urge a disciplined focus on the common ground of expanding free enterprise, defending British freedoms and a meritocratic concept of fairness that rewards hard-work. You can access the article here.
