Esher Probus Club

This morning, I addressed the Esher Probus Club, a diverse local group of retired businessmen who engage in a wide range of local community activities. It was interesting to engage with, and field questions, from people with a whole range of expertise and from different walks of professional life - from local GPs to entrepreneurs.

The discussion covered the economy, the Eurozone, NHS reform, welfare dependency, immigration control, education policy and coalition politics. I found the feedback insightful and interesting. I even managed to get my photo taken with Chairman Frank Watson, below, holding the Olympic torch that passed through Kingston recently. My thanks to the club for their invitation and the very warm welcome.
