Celebrating Molesey Library
On Saturday, I joined the Friends of Molesey Library and the Molesey Arts Society for the re-launch of Molesey library, on Walton Road, with local councillors and residents. The aim is to promote awareness of this wonderful local facility, widen its appeal, and encourage more volunteers to help out.
As well as the traditional role of a local library, there are adult classes being run and a range of fun activities for youngsters. Molesey Art Society also secured funding for a hanging system from the RC Sherrif Trust, which will brighten up the library and showcase the work of some of the wonderful local artists we have in our community.
To find out more about the library, the Friends or how to get involved, you can visit their blogsite here. My congratulations to Pauline Morozgalska, Chair of the Friends, and her team for organising a fabulous event.
