On Saturday, I attended All Saints Church, in Weston Green, where VOCE - a group of choral scholars founded in Cambridge - sang before a packed congregation. It was a breath-taking performance, and one of the singers (Nicholas Yates) kindly invited me to say a few words about the Esher Neighbourhood Fund. The collection taken was donated to the fund. The evening was a brilliant combination of wonderful music performed in aid of a good local cause.
