Claremont Fan Court School
On Friday, I dropped by Claremont Fan Court School in Esher. The staff very kindly arranged an opportunity to chat to a range of pupils, including members of the under 13's Lacrosse team recently back from England trials, a team of sixth-formers who have reached the national finals of the ICAEW Business, Accounting and Skills Education competition, and two year 10 pupils - Theo and Thomas (pictured immediately below) - who have reached the finals of the Surrey Young Enterprise competition with their innovative, eco-friendly, Bird Igloo!
The pupils were a really sparky and well-rounded lot with diverse interests, and a great testament to the school. We had a good conversation ranging from sport and enterprise to politics.
