Party Conference
I'm back home after the Conservative Party Conference. It was fun going up as an MP for the first time, and the party is in good spirits. No triumphalism, no complacency, just a sense of stubborn optimism.
The Esher & Walton crowd met up for drinks on Monday evening. I spoke in six fringe events - Open Europe, Big Brother Watch, Association of Police Authorities, Howard League for Penal Reform and Conservatives Against Fox Hunting. You can watch a clip from the latter here.
