Saving Money and Energy
One of our pioneering local firms, TR Control Solutions, is going from strength to strength. The company innovated eco-driver, a program designed to monitor in real time the amount of energy an organisation is using - from schools and businesses to government departments. This technology is extremely useful for saving money and cutting the amount of energy used and CO2 emissions.
On Friday, I joined Chief Executive, John Taylor, and John Cole, Head of Sustainability at the Home Office, amongst a wide-ranging group for a seminar on the benefits of eco-driver. As well as interested businesses, Richard Dunne from Ashley School in Walton was there, along with a representative from Thames Ditton junior school and students from Hinchley Wood School.
Elmbridge is home to many of the innovative, high-tech, businesses Britain needs to strengthen its economic competitiveness - and TR Control Solutions is proving to be a local leader in its field.
