Elmbridge Enterprise Fair
Last night, I joined local councillors, retailers and representatives of the local business community for a Question Time event at Velocity Brooklands in Weybridge (pictured below). Elmbridge council Leader, John O'Reilly, chaired the event. We heard from Dermot Shean from UKTI about the export opportunities for small businesses, Mark Pearson from Surrey Connects about county-wide strategic business growth, and Steve Metcalf from Youth Business International about efforts to get youngsters enthusiastic about enterprise.
Above all, there were lots of local businessmen and women at the event, providing their insights and invaluable feedback. It was a great networking event - congratulations to Davina Fell and Rob Moran at the council for all their organisational effort.
