Walton's New Digital Work Hub
Last week, I met up with local entrepreneur Alec Grant, Founder and Managing Director of The Digital Work Hub a new co-working and business incubation space in Walton-on-Thames. Co-working has become an increasingly popular style of work that ‘involves a shared working environment, often an office, and independent activity’. It is aimed at freelancers, home workers, start-ups, entrepreneurs and people running small businesses.
The Digital Work Hub provides flexible office desk space, meeting rooms, training and event space for these groups alongside business support, mentoring, coaching and collaboration opportunities to help accelerate the growth of their businesses. It's a really innovative idea.
The Digital Work Hub also now holds a free monthly ‘Jelly’ which is a co-working event aimed at getting together with like-minded people for a change of scene, to chat, exchanging advice and ideas. They are hosting a free Start Up Workshop on November 28th. You can find out more about the event here, and the hub here.
