Henry's Kitchen
It's election time, and I've been out and about supporting local Conservative candidates in the run up to May 22 (next Thursday, in case election fever has passed you by). Before canvassing in Molesey for our brilliant local candidate, Steve Bax, on Thursday night, I joined Reza Amini on Bridge Road (in East Molesey) for the opening of his wonderful new restaurant, Henry's Kitchen (pictured below with Mayor, Mike Bennison).
Their menu is a mixture of British and continental dishes, locally-sourced, with an enormous amount of care going into making the restaurant ecologically sensitive. It's terrific to see such an innovative restaurateur opening a new business locally. I love Bridge Road. It's close to home and a great mix of idiosyncratic shops and eateries with their own style and character (Erika and I often pick up takeaway from Mezzet, the Lebanese restaurant up the street). I wish Reza every success with Henry's Kitchen - a brilliant addition to Bridge Road.
